Governing Law
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States federal law.
1. Contract Formation
A legally binding sales agreement is formed when Blue Line Containers issues a written Order Confirmation acknowledging and accepting the customer’s order.
Orders involving freight booking, inventory allocation, modifications, fabrication, customization, or third-party carrier scheduling may immediately incur operational and administrative costs.
2. Order Cancellation Before Shipment
Customers may request cancellation of an order only before the product has been dispatched.
However, if:
- Freight services have been booked
- Inventory has been allocated
- Customization or fabrication has commenced
- Third-party supplier or processing fees have been incurred
Blue Line Containers reserves the right to deduct reasonable administrative, processing, freight, and operational expenses from any eligible refund.
Custom-built, modified, fabricated, or specially sourced products cannot be cancelled once production or modification has begun.
3. No Cancellation After Shipment
Once a product has:
- Been dispatched
- Released to a freight carrier
- Loaded for transportation
the order may no longer be cancelled while in transit.
If a customer no longer wishes to keep the item, they must:
- Accept delivery
- Inspect the goods
- Initiate a return request within the return period outlined below
Refusal of delivery does not constitute a valid cancellation and may result in freight, handling, storage, and return transportation costs being deducted from any refund.
4. 30-Day Return Window
Blue Line Containers offers a 30-calendar-day return window from the date of delivery for eligible non-custom products.
To qualify for a return:
- The product must remain unused
- The product must be in substantially the same condition as delivered
- No structural modifications, alterations, repainting, or repairs may have been performed
- Original order documentation must be provided
- Return requests must be submitted in writing within 30 calendar days of delivery
5. Products Not Eligible for Return
The following products are non-returnable unless defective or materially misrepresented:
- Customized containers
- Modified containers
- Fabricated units
- Built-to-specification products
- Special-order inventory
- Clearance or final-sale items
- Products altered after delivery
Deposits paid toward custom or modified products become non-refundable once fabrication or modification work has commenced.
6. Return Freight & Transportation Responsibility
Because shipping containers require specialized freight handling:
- Customers are responsible for all return transportation costs unless the product is defective or shipped incorrectly
- Return shipments must be coordinated through an approved freight provider
- Collection services arranged by Blue Line Containers may incur additional collection fees
- Original outbound freight charges are non-refundable unless legally required or caused by our error
- Freight, handling, storage, redelivery, and rerouting costs may be deducted from any refund
7. Inspection & Damage Claims
Customers must inspect all products immediately upon delivery.
If goods are:
- Damaged in transit
- Structurally compromised
- Missing components
- Materially different from the ordered product
the customer must notify Blue Line Containers within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence.
Failure to report freight damage within 48 hours may limit or void carrier-related damage claims.
8. Defective or Misdescribed Products
If a product is materially defective or not substantially as described:
Blue Line Containers may, at its discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Issue a full or partial refund
Reasonable return transportation costs may be reimbursed where appropriate.
9. Refund Processing
Once a return has been approved:
- Returned products must be received and inspected
- Refund processing will begin within 2 business days of inspection approval
- Refunds are generally completed within 7–14 business days, depending on banking institutions and payment providers
Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used for the purchase.
For payments made by bank transfer, refunds will be returned to the originating account whenever possible.
10. Condition of Returned Goods
Customers are responsible for exercising reasonable care while products remain in their possession.
If returned goods show:
- Structural damage
- Excessive wear
- Unauthorized modifications
- Missing components or accessories
Blue Line Containers reserves the right to:
- Deny the return request
- Apply reasonable restocking fees
- Deduct refurbishment or repair costs from any refund
11. Refusal of Delivery
If a customer refuses delivery without a valid defect-related justification:
- Round-trip freight charges
- Storage fees
- Handling expenses
- Administrative costs
may be deducted from any eligible refund.
12. Limitation of Liability
Blue Line Containers shall not be liable for delays or losses caused by:
- Freight carrier delays
- Weather events
- Port congestion
- Government actions
- Acts of God
- Customs delays
- Third-party transportation failures
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from the sale of goods or services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
The parties agree that venue for any legal proceedings shall be within the State of Florida unless otherwise required by applicable law.
